Chartered in 1953, the Austin Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated has spent over seven decades as a cornerstone of leadership and community for our children. We are one of the oldest chapters in our region — a chapter that has sent leaders to the regional and national level, produced teen officers who have gone on to lead far beyond our borders, and hosted the very first South Central Teen Conference. 

At our core, Jack and Jill of America is a membership organization of mothers dedicated to nurturing future African-American leaders through leadership development, volunteer service, philanthropic giving, and civic duty. Our aims have never wavered: to know our children better, to seek for all children the same advantages we desire for our own, and to support what betters the lives of children everywhere.

This year, our chapter is embracing a new season under the theme Austin Rising — a season built on culture, collaboration, and communication, and grounded always in one guiding question: does this serve our children well?
